WOW!! Our tournament of Champions is only 10 weeks away. This is an INVITATION ONLY event for the 180 bowlers who have qualified throughout the year and will be hosted by our friends at Riverside Lanes in Laughlin, NV the weekend of December 8th - 10th.
Since we'll be out of town for this one, we've tried to put together a fun weekend to give everyone as much opportunity to bowl as possible while still allowing time to just hang out with friends, gamble (if that's your thing), and hopefully get to know each other better. After all, one of our primary objectives for Balls & Babes Bowling tournaments is to grow and strengthen the bowling community.
To kick off the weekend, we will host an OPTIONAL Battle of the Sexes Trios event on Friday, December 9th at 9:00pm. This event is limited to 32 teams and will be filled on a first come / first served basis. You DO NOT need to be bowling in the TOC to bowl this event. However, to give our TOC bowlers first dibs, we will not open the event to the public until mid to late November.
The TOC, itself, gets underway on Saturday, December 9th with everyone bowling 4 games of qualifying. You will have your choice of a 9:00am squad or a 12:30pm squad. Squads will be assigned on a first come / first served basis. After everyone has bowled their qualifying round, we will make the cut for the elimination / match play rounds which will take place on Sunday morning.
***PLEASE NOTE: Bowlers will compete in qualifying within their respective divisions.
On Saturday evening, we will host another OPTIONAL event. This will be a 5-person Baker Mixed Team event. Teams will need to have at least 2 members of the opposite gender. Squad time will be 6:00pm. This event will also be filled on a first / come, first / first served basis and non-TOC bowlers are welcome. This event is also limited to 32 teams. Re-entry will be allowed as long as you change at least 2 bowlers on your team.
Sunday morning begins the TOC elimination rounds. There will be 3 elimination rounds followed by a stepladder final.
***PLEASE NOTE: Bowlers will compete in the elimination rounds within their respective divisions.
The winner from each division will move on to the stepladder finals.
